Lauren was the Casting Director for the original Australian tours of Kinky Boots and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical during four and half years with the Michael Cassel Group in Sydney, having initially joined in 2013 to manage the casting process for Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Miserables.  During this time, she also held Associate Producer and Production Administrator roles within the organisation. Lauren’s theatrical casting career began in 2009 at Sydney Theatre Company where she was Casting Coordinator for Co-Artistic Directors Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton, later returning to the company as the Casting Director for Artistic Director Kip Williams until 2019. As a freelance Casting Director Lauren is currently working on the forthcoming production of Hamilton (Michael Cassel Group) in Australia.
