Irene and David are a Canadian married writing team. They won the 2019 Olivier Award and were nominated for the 2018 Grammy Award and the 2017 Tony Award for their score for Come From Away, with the show itself winning the 2019 Olivier Award for Best Musical, three 2017 Dora Mavor Moore Awards, four Helen Hayes Awards, five Outer Critics Circle Awards and three Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical. David and Irene were also the recipients of the 2017 Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Awards for Best Book. Their first show, My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding (based on David’s mother’s true story) was produced by Mirvish Productions in Toronto and won best musical awards across North America, with Sankoff and Hein performing in most productions. Current projects include two original films with the Disney Organization, and an original television series for Warner Brothers, among many others. Irene and David are the recipients of the Good Neighbour Award from the Four Freedoms Park Conservancy and the Meritorious Service Cross of Canada. They are proud members of the Dramatists Guild, Writers Guild East and ASCAP. Ian is currently the Music Supervisor, Arranger and Conductor for the Broadway, Toronto, North American Tour, and UK companies of Come From Away for which he received the 2018 Olivier and a 2017 Grammy nomination. He is also the Music Supervisor, Arranger and Conductor for the new Broadway musical and Netflix film, Diana. From 2003 to 2016, Ian served as the Music Supervisor and Director of New Work at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre. Lauren was the Casting Director for the Australian tours of Kinky Boots and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical during four years with the Michael Cassel Group, having initially joined in 2013 to manage the casting for Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables. Lauren also held Associate Producer and Production Administrator roles within the organisation. Lauren’s theatrical casting career began in 2009 at Sydney Theatre Company as Casting Coordinator for Co-Artistic Directors Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton, later returning to the company as the Casting Director for Artistic Director Kip Williams until 2019. A Toronto based producer who conceived this compelling story as a musical. In 2011 he established the Canadian Music Theatre Project (CMTP), an international incubator for the development of new musicals at Sheridan College, where he produced and developed the first workshops of Come From Away. He is the Producing Artistic Director of the CMTP and is currently developing new musicals in Canada and China. Daniel has directed plays and musicals on and off-Broadway and around the world. He directed the 2011 revival of Godspell on Broadway.   As a writer, his musical Row, about Tori Murden McClure, the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic, was commissioned by The Public Theatre and was scheduled to have its world premiere last summer at The Williamstown Theater Festival.  Instead, it will be heard as an audio play created in association with Williamstown for Audible.   His musical Unknown Soldier, written with the late Michael Friedman, had its New York premiere at Playwrights Horizons (closing one day after opening, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic) following the World Premiere at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.  His play Orange Crush about Tony Schwartz, the ghost-writer of “The Art of the Deal” was commissioned by Roundabout Theatre. Thanks to Melissa, Ezra & Gracie for keeping the fires warm while I’m gone.  www.danielgoldsteincreative.com

Russell is Associate Sound Designer for Gareth Owen Sound Ltd. Upcoming productions include MJ the musical (Broadway). Recent productions include: Diana The Musical (Broadway); Mamma Mia The Party (London); Come From Away (Broadway, North American Tour, Canada and UK); Starlight Express (Bochum); Strictly Ballroom (Piccadilly); Deaf West’s Spring Awakening (Broadway); The Wind in the Willows (London Palladium); Memphis (Shaftesbury - Olivier Award for Best Sound Design) and In the Heights (King’s Cross). Previously Russell has toured for over ten years on shows including Hairspray (UK Tour 2010), Sister Act (UK Tour 2011) and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (Arena Tour 2012).
